Weather on the Emerald Coast

The Emerald Coast of Florida has a humid subtropical climate that is very warm in the summer and fairly mild in the winters. The temperature really starts to warm up starting in late April and early May. Average monthly rainfall is around 5” with the late summer and early fall having slightly more rain than the rest of the year.

The water temperature of the Gulf of Mexico ranges from mid to low 60°s in the winter and the mid 80°s during the summer months.
